Robbie SteinhouseI have been an entrepreneur since leaving University (where I studied business and computing). My focus on NLP stems from my experiences creating and running businesses. As these businesses grew, I found an ever-increasing need for more than just commercial skills, both for myself and my team: business is ultimately about people. I also found a bewildering range of help and models on offer – the material that I found by far the most useful was NLP, especially when linked to a coaching approach. In 2002, it was time to move on from my businesses – most entrepreneurs get in the way when their enterprises get beyond a certain size – and I decided to concentrate all my efforts on coaching and on NLP training. I studied with Robert Dilts and Judith de Lozier at NLP University in Santa Cruz, where I qualified as a Certified NLP Trainer. I have also worked with or attended training given by most of the other major NLP ‘names’, such as Richard Bandler, John Grinder, Ian McDermott, Joesph O’Connor, Stephen Gilligan, Suzi Smith, Tad James and Anthony Robbins. I am also an International Coaching Federation Certified Coach. I now divide my time between running NLP School Europe, teaching at the school and coaching individual clients. |

Chris WestI’ve been a professional writer for many years, starting with Journey to the Middle Kingdom, a book about backpacking around China which was published back in 1991. Since hen I have written a wide variety of things. These include crime fiction (Death of a Blue Lantern has recently been republished), the very successful start-up book The Beermat Entrepreneur (co-authored with Mike Southon) and now Think Like an Entrepreneur. My interest in therapy and personal development goes back a long way. I was a volunteer student counsellor at University. In the 1990s I studied for a counselling Certificate at Norwich City College then took a 2-year course in TA with Nick Irving, a therapist in Norfolk. Most recently I have completed the NLP Practitioner course at NLP School Europe. |
